CSTR & Fixed Bed Reactors
Continuous Flow Stirred Tank Reactors System (CSTR)
This system is used when the product is developed /produced on continuous basis for better productivity. In such system gases & liquids are added continuously in stirred reactor & product is recovered on continuous basis at high pressure & temperature. Such system may employ 1 or more reactors in series. When connected in series the overflow of 1st becomes the inlet to 2nd & so on. They are available in sizes from 100ml to 100 Ltr.

(All the other specification as per stirred reactor, such system is normally supplied with multiple inlets & outlets for addition & transfer/removal of gases & liquids for accessories to such systems refer below)
 
Continuous Flow, Fixed / Fluidized Bed Tubular Catalytic Reactor Systems
These reactors use a tubular vessel packed with a fixed bed of Catalyst. Reactant liquids & gases are fed to the reactor at controlled rate through pre-heaters & pre-mixer. Final products are collected from the outlet of the reactor & cooled & separated for recovery.
 
Application
These reactors are used in Petroleum, Petrochemical, Polymer, Pharmaceutical, Specialty Chemical & alike industries to carry out reactions like carboxylation, hydrogenation, hydrocracking, hydroformulation, partial oxidation, polymerization etc.

Following accessories can be supplied with CSTR & Tubular Reactors
a) Gas Feed System : May consist & forward pressure regulator & or gas booster & multipal gas flow controllers.
b) Liquid Feed System : May consist of charging pressure pots or one or more metering pumps.
c) Back Pressure regulators manual or automatic to maintain constant upstream pressure.
d) Condenser : These are used for distillation / reflux or condensate return back or for cooling.
e) Gas/Liquid separator : are used to separate the gases from the liquid by collecting the liquid & venting the gas.
f) Level Control System : with the help of dip pipes or overflow nozzles or optionally automated level switch/sensor for level control.
g) Mounting : the total systems with all the accessories are mounted on MS or SS skid with all the interconnecting tubing/piping.
h) Control System :
a) Modular or common integrated compact controller to monitor & control all the parameters on single screen.
b) Touch screen panel with indication & control of all the parameters.
i) Software :Suitable scada software to control & monitor all the parameters remotely from the PC with online & history graph.
