Agitated Thin Film Reactors / Evaporators (ATFR / ATFE) are precision-engineered systems designed for rapid heat transfer, efficient evaporation, and short residence time processing of heat-sensitive, viscous, and high-boiling materials. Using rotating wipers to form a thin, turbulent film on the heated surface, ATFR / ATFE systems enable continuous separation, concentration, and solvent recovery with minimal thermal degradation. Available in lab, pilot, and commercial scales, with design pressure from -1 bar to 20 bar and temperature capability from -30°C to 200°C, these systems are ideal for pharmaceutical intermediates, fine chemicals, polymers, resins, food products, oils, lubricants, effluent treatment, and solvent removal applications.
